Richmond, VA's abrasive sludge and roll duo, THUNDERCHIEF, continue their aural assault into 2026 with new punishing music and exciting news to follow, including wrapping up 2025 by supporting Midwestern volume heshers, TELEKINETIC YETI.

Described as "...an incessant nightmare, like Sleep on ketamine", THUNDERCHIEF has been a prominent force in the Richmond VA music scene since 2006 and continues to tour and perform regularly.

THUNDERCHIEF has transformed into one of the hairiest songwriting teams in the metal and punk genres, featuring Rik Surly and Erik Larson. Time and time again, the band has shown that they are less concerned with maintaining genre-specific status and more focused on unleashing the beast from within.

Riff-laden, ear-catching, drum-forward punishment is the goal. That's it.
